COLLIDER play the same top-notch music as Mastodon, Baroness and KYLESA are well known for. So if you are into those bands then you will love these guys.

I have to thank regular viewer PJ Sludge again for this top tip. I have seen these guys posted before on other blogs but never had the decency to check them out. Well I was wrong. As their new S/T EP is simply superb.

Their new EP is three tracks long and runs for 16 mins or so. And that is all the time these guys need to prove that they are a superb band in their own right.

Their new EP is just superb. Plain and simple. Full of brilliant Prog Sludge Metal riffs with top-notch Hardcore based vocals to match as well.

The three tracks on show do show this band knows how to write a class Sludge Metal riff. And they have the talent to go far in the Sludge Genre. All of the tracks are superbly played and produced by all concerned.

So if you want a quick blast of top-class Sludge Metal then I highly recommend these guys.

My fave track is definitely “Crusher Of Suns”. A superb song that shows what this band does so well. Top-notch Sludge Metal riffs from start to finish.

You can own this superb release from BandCamp on anything you want type deal. I hope these guys release a full-length album in the near future. As they have the potential to write an epic album like the three bands they take influence from.
