DREAMTIME are a Heavy Psych/Space Rock/Stoner/Doom/Sludge Rock Band from Brisbane, Australia.

DREAMTIME are a superb and highly talented band that blends Heavy Psych with Stoner/Doom/Sludge in equal measure. This band just blew my mind and soul with their superb blend of out-there riffs.
I have to thank the superb Stoned Sun Vibrations blog for pointing this band out to me as I wouldn't knew they existed.
Now we have another brilliant Aussie Stoner/Sludge Band to worship. Australia is becoming my fave country for Sludge/Stoner Metal Bands after a whole lot I have published here: AVER. ADRIFT FOR DAYS, HAWKMOTH, AT DARK, THE MATADOR and HYDROMEDUSA.
It must be something in the air that gives Australia a whole bunch of top-notch Stoner Metal bands as you can now add these guys to the mix.
They play a perfect blend of 60's/70's Psych Rock with modern blends of Sludge/Stoner/Doom/Space Rock that needs to be heard. As I was blown away from the start with this band's brilliant music.
The band have just released their brilliant S/T album - Dreamtime - A 5 song 35 minute epic of an album.
Loud, Heavy, Spacey, Dreamy, Atmospheric are just words I can describe their superb music. But you will have to listen to it for yourself. Check out the tracks such as "Slag" and the sublime "Eve".
The album's artwork is just beautiful. It's great to see a band taking such care and passion with the albums visuals as they are really amazing to look at.
Anyway the album is superbly played and produced by all involved. This is definitely an album that has came out of nowhere and literally amazed me with it's vision, creativity and top notch Stoner Metal vibes.
I can't recommend this brilliant album enough. What is even more you can download it for free from the band's superb BandCamp Page. You can download the Digital Version or Vinyl Version.
The Digital Version is pay anything you want type deal and Vinyl Version is free download. So a whole range of choices to download. I downloaded the Vinyl Version. And it sounds epic. So top marks for the band for providing two different versions.

The band also have their debut S/T EP for free download as well. Another superb release as well. Two of the tracks from their debut full length is here but in different forms. So it's great to see the guys have re-worked their original recordings.
So all in all. This is a brilliant band for you to check out. Yeah it trippy, psychedelic but it has top-notch Sludge/Doom/Stoner Metal riffs with amazing vocals to match.
