Fallen Colossus play Stoner Rock with huge aspects of Experimental/Prog Rock to superb effect.

I have to thank the excellent blog “A Distant Rumble” for pointing out this band to me. As I would not know about their existence. What They say about the album is spot-on and even more in my humble opinion.

The band have just released their superb S/T Demo available on BandCamp pay anything you want type deal. In addition, I highly recommend you download this now before it’s too late.

This S.T Demo is superbly played and produced from all involved. This sounds like a professional release rather than a demo. As I can’t complain about any aspect of the album’s production. Superbly produced and put together.

What you get is superb Stoner Rock/Metal with a great Experimental Rock vibe. The album is full of some outstanding original Stoner Rock/Metal riffs.

Taking influence from bands such as Torche, Kyuss, Monster Magnet and other great bands of the respective genres. Fallen Colossus add a truly original Prog/Experimental Rock twist with a dashing of Doom Metal as well. This album will have you singing and head-banging along to the music in no time.

So if your looking for something a bit different to your usual Stoner Rock/Metal then I recommend you check these guys out.

The album has a few epic lengthy tracks that would go down a storm on the live circuit.

Stoner Rock needs bands like Fallen Colossus to show people that the genre can throw something a bit leftfield and a bit special. I can’t recommend this album highly enough. It truly is a great album to listen to over and over again.

So get downloading these great Experimental Rockers Now!!!
