Show Me A Dinosaur are a superb Instrumental Post-Rock/Post-Metal Band with added superb Shoegaze effects. If you are into Russian Circles. Pelican and Mogwai then you will definitely dig these talented rockers.
The band have just released their superb new release “Evolvent”. A 6 song – 30-minute blast of top-notch Post Rock driven Post-Metal riffs.
Both quiet and loud in equal measure. This is another standout entry in the Post-Rock/Post-Metal world. Combining Post-Rock/Shoegaze dynamics with louder Post-Metal riffage with ease. These guys really do know how to mix the use of the genres brilliantly.
The songs on the new release are simply superb to listen to. Especially the 7-minute epic “Gagarin”. Full of beautiful Post-Rock harmonies and heavier Post-Metal riffs that at times feel like a deadly duel instead of apart of the song.
A wonderful song that shows the band’s talents to great effect.
Brilliantly produced. You can hear every note played superbly to loud effect. A superb release from a top-notch band of musicians who know when to throw the loud riffs in amongst the quiet aspects of their music.
