Having first adorned these very pages way back in 2013, it is 3 long year since their “Mangled By The Machine” album caused a stir. Having created a batch of songs whose riffs were made for headbanging, fast forward to 2016 and Portland quartet Ape Machine are set to release another 6 killer cuts in the form of stunning new EP, “Coalition of the Unwilling” (now that's an oxymoron if ever there was one), via badass label Heavy Psych Sounds.
Despite the apparent juxtaposition of the title, Ape Machine once again demonstrate an uncanny knack for delivering cohesive riffs and stellar grooves in spades. With the band hitting the road from 11/3, stopping at SXSW and the Fuzzed Out Fest, to name but a few, today in conjunction the Us & Them Group, we’re premiering a stellar new track called “Disband.”
