Feuerzeug - Dead Wahines & Tsunamis Review

Feuerzeug are a Space Rock/Fuzz/Desert/Stoner Rock band from Lausanne, Switzerland.

The members are:

David Van Neeg
Terry Pinhard
Marc Cappelletti
Esteban Von Wolfsburg

Feuerzeug play a hypnotic blend of Space Rock/Fuzz/Desert/Stoner Rock which is at times highly infectious. They have just released their outstanding 2nd album - Dead Wahines & Tsunamis. A 13 song opus and 71 minute epic with sublime riffs running throughout its mammoth running time.]

If your into KYUSS, Dozer, Truckfighters, Low Rider and Fu Manchu then your going to love this.

The album is full of excellent fuzz-driven Desert Rock/Stoner Rock vibes with a great Space Rock atmosphere added to it.

There are some great song titles to match the cool vibes being played through your stereo - Cyclops Will Be Beheaded, Evil Knievel Has Kissed The Devil and Release The Kraken amongst others.

The album has a great sci-fi edge to them. These spaced-out fuzz rockers know how to write a great songs with great vocals to match.

This album is the perfect soundtrack to the summer. This is a type of album you can listen with your friends and be chilled out from start to finish. Bottle of beer in one hand and a huge bong in the other.

The album is brilliantly produced and you can hear every note played to perfection. It show's the guys are all excellent musicians and feels like an extended supergroup jamming session of the bands mentioned above.

The album has two brilliant 10 minute epic tracks that sets this album apart from most Desert Rock/Stoner Rock albums around at the moment - Release The Kraken and Dead Wahines & Tsunamis.

These are the two tracks the band demands your attention the most and has some of the best riffs on the album. These two tracks are worth it for the purchase alone. Sublime Stuff.

Feuerzeug have delivered a hard-rocking kick-ass fuzzed out Space Rock/Stoner Rock masterclass of epic gigantic riffs and one you will find hard to ignore. Simply Unmissable.

Highly Recommended.
