The Sludgelord News: HALSHUG: Invisible Oranges Releases Track From Danish Raw Punk Outfit; Blodets Bånd LP Out On Southern Lord Next Week

Just days from its worldwide release via Southern Lord is Blodets Bånd, the debut album from Copenhagen, Denmark's brutal raw punk outfit, HALSHUG, and in preparation, Invisible Oranges has unloaded the record's fourth track, "Knæl." The feedback-soaked intro immediately gives way to one of the most straightforward, circle pit-inducing, percussive d-beatings of the entire album. Corresponding with the exclusive song premiere, Invisible Oranges offers, "By the time you get to this point on the album, you're less than six minutes in and you already have black eyes and broken teeth. By the end of the eighth track, they live up to the translation of their name: decapitate."

Unload HALSHUG's "Knæl" through Invisible Oranges RIGHT HERE.

The album's "Total Destruktion" was previously issued via Cvlt Nation HERE.

HALSHUG will celebrate Blodets Bånd with a hometown record release show in Copenhagen tomorrow, Friday, February 20th, joined by Weak, Horrendous, Smitstof and Reverie. Additional live actions are being confirmed and even more planned, the most recent additions include HALSHUGsupporting Harms Way and also taking part in Copenhell Festival alongside the likes of Rise Against, Gojira, Body Count, Life Of Agony, Bloodbath, Cannibal Corpse, At The Gates and more, both in June. The band will also make its way to the US for the first time later this year.

HALSHUG (which translates to 'decapitate') is fast becoming known within Europe's hallowed DIY routes and enclaves for their impeccably executed hardcore crust, which pays furious tribute to their rich K-town heritage and crucially adds an abrasive modern stomp. With searing distortion, radical d-beat pace, overblown reverb vocals, HALSHUG leaves no room for subtlety or second-guessing across the eight tracks of their first full-length effort, Blodets Bånd. Watch as Blodets Bånd engulfs the world in flames.

The Sludgelord News: FASHION WEEK: Invisible Oranges Gives Up The Whole New LP From NYC Grunge Metal Weirdos Early

Get chic with a premier scuzz-induction courtesy of NYC's FASHION WEEK, as Invisible Oranges lines the carpet with plastic in advance of the clique's Prêt-à-Porter debut via France's Solar Flare Records next week. The top-tier grime bar they set on their debut LP, Prêt-à-Porter, now sees public availability through the metal forefront trendsetters at Invisible Oranges, who notes in their write-up of what the outfit has to offer, "If you like Steve Albini-style angularity and strange spoken word soliloquies, stark noise rock and '90s-style Am Rep abrasiveness like Hammerhead, you will love this band. The tongue-in-cheek titles are just a bit of a curveball that they throw into otherwise jagged aggression."

Your VIP invite to try on the illest auditory garments of the season, like wearing a bear rug before it's gone through the taxidermy process, is at THIS LOCATION.

A video for the track "Chorusace" was also hosted by American Aftermath RIGHT HERE.

Prêt-à-Porter material was just showcased by Brooklyn's connoisseurs of the crush on a pre-release live debut as FASHION WEEK took on a Southeastern US tour with Skyacre over the past two weeks. This Saturday, February 21st, the band will bring the damage to their hometown with a record release gala, as the band joins Primitive Weapons, Whores and Retox at trusted Brooklyn liquor/speaker cabinet, Saint Vitus Bar. Additional public displays of this lavish and ludicrously awesome filth will be announced in the coming weeks.

FASHION WEEK Tour Dates:
2/21/2015 Saint Vitus Bar - Brooklyn, NY *record release show w/ Retox, Whores, Primitive Weapons

FASHION WEEK unites a cast of musicians who have done time with Jarboe, Man's Gin, Nakatomi Plaza, Go Deep, Family, Vampillia and more, here unloading a brew of belligerence that remains somewhat unclassifiable, yet soaked in a brackish flood of underground grunge metal and noise rock runoff.Engineered by Andrew Schneider (Cave In, Unsane, East Of The Wall), eight scathing works jam a half-hour of dynamic, grunge and noise-soaked, metallic freakout on Prêt-à-Porter, the entire album throwing enough twists, turns and surprises at the listener than a blindfolded pogo-stick excursion through a field of landmine-lined trampoline pits. Solar Flare Records will release Prêt-à-Porter on 12" vinyl and all digital formats on February 23rd. Preorders for both physical versions which include digital downloads have been made available HERE and both versions in a t-shirt bundle HERE.

The Sludgelord News : YAUTJA: Next Phase Of Pre-Release Warfare Hosted By Invisible Oranges

In the ongoing pre-release shock-and-awe style disbursement of audio from Songs Of Descent¸ the debut LP from Nashville trio, YAUTJA, another new track is fired into the population.

Invisible Oranges today proudly joins the YAUTJA opposition, stating "Who wouldn't want to hear a mosh riff that's been kidnapped by the AmRep roster and fed a bunch of drugs?" The track being deployed at I/O is the mammoth, lurching, "Denihilist," appearing in the #2 cannon of the album's vast fourteen-track arsenal. Stating about the track specifically, the text joining the audio concludes, "Denihilist"'s live-wire crack snare and fill-heavy second half is more than a little reminiscent ofRemission-era Mastodon, which all but fools will agree is never a bad thing. So, while YAUTJA's sound is at times cozily familiar, it's also compellingly recombinant. And, sweet baby Moses in a reed basket, when they hit one of those lurches, you might want to take care that your internal organs don't just jump right through your skin. Only music with such a combination of smarts and tactile power can put your body in two places at once."

Open fire with "Denihilist" via Invisible Oranges AT THIS LOCATION.

Also revisit the previously deployed "Faith Resigned" at Noisey RIGHT HERE and "Concrete Tongue" via Lambgoat HERE.

Forcefield Records will release Songs Of Descent via download and 12" LP on February 11th, the digital version mastered by Mikey Allred and the vinyl mastered by Zack Allen of Obsidian Eye Studios (Loss, Recluse, Sky Burial). Preorders for the wax are now being taken at Forcefield's webstore; limited to five hundred copies, joined by a poster, the first pressing of the LP is available on white waxHERE or gold and black wax, HERE.

The last few shows completing the itinerary for YAUTJA's next tour in support of Songs Of Descentare still being locked down, the two-and-a-half week set to infiltrate the eastern half of the country fromFebruary 1st through the 16th, ending with a celebratory hometown record release show.
