SATURNDUST

Sons Of Water cover art

Saturndust is a Stoner Metal Band from São Paulo, Brasil

The members are:

Phil Dalam - Guitar/Vocals
Gopavrndãla Dãsa - Bass
Elder Lukas - Drums

Saturndust are a Psych/Stoner/Doom Metal Band who recently contacted me to feature their music on the blog. Well am happy to oblige as these guys are a great band.

I will let their bio do the talking.

"I (Phil) formed the band in 2010, when I was just 17, and after some change of group members, we released 'Sons Of Water EP' last year. Now we're working in a possibly full-length for late-2013. And we'll release as a single this year a lost track from the EP, called 'Ascend'.

We're trying to "stand our ground" in the underground, but it's hard to find Sludge or Psychedelic Doom bands in our country. Maybe we're the only ones. And the "scene" here is still growing with the rest, which all goes influenced by bands like Clutch, that it's not of our business."

Now I loved the Phil's honesty in trying to get his music out there. As their Sons Of Water EP is quite brilliant for a band so young. So if your into some top-notch psych based Sludge/Stoner Metal then your going to dig this.

Brasil does have a lot of great Sludge/Stoner Rock Bands as we have featured a few of them such as Sedna, Câimbra, Son Of A Witch and Monster Coyote. But Saturndust might be my fave so far as their music is so damn good with lots of groovy riffs to check out.

If Sons Of Water is a sound of things to come then their debut album is going to be something special indeed.

I urge you all to check out Saturndust as they will blow your fucking mind. Sons Of Water might only be on for 13 mins but what an EP it is. It's a great listen from start to finish.

You can either download it song by song at BandCamp or you can download it from Mediafire that the band have kindly given me permission to publish.

So everybody rock the fuck out to these hugely talented Sludge/Stoner Rockers. As I am predicting big things for Saturndust in the years to come. Awesome. End Of.

Highly Recommended. Hell fucking yeah they are.
