Lizzard Wizzard cover art

Lizzard Wizzard is a Sludge/Doom/Stoner Metal Band from Brisbane, Australia.

The members are.

Stef Roselli - Bass/Vocals
Luke Osborne - Drums
Michael Clarke - Guitar/Vocals
Nick McKeon - Guitar/Vocals

Ignore the crazy name of the band and the crazy sounding sound titles and worship the awesome riffs that Lizzard Wizzard have in store for you on their debut album. Lizzard Wizzard is a hard rocking and hard riffing unit with a talent for playing sublime riffs. Tracks such as Twilight of the Terminator, Chaaaarles, Bong Dive, and Game Of Clones will have you head-banging in no time at all.

If you are a fan of Conan, Traitors Return To Earth, Kyuss, High On Fire and Sleep then you seriously need to check these guys out, as this album will speak to your inner rock-demon. Just like the awesome album, cover which screams at you to play this album at full blast.

Lizzard Wizzard describes themselves as 4 Player Turn Based Stoner Doom and that is a great description as each member definitely has their own part to play. Vocals and instrumental work is superb through out. It is cool that the band has a great sense of humour to their music especially poking fun at the HBO Series – Game Of Thrones – on ace Stoner track – Game Of Clones.

But behind the humour is a great band to check out as Lizzard Wizzard can play a mean riff to rock out with the best in the business. The opening riffs of Twilight Of The Terminator will have you hooked from the very first riff. You can tell these guys are something special indeed and for the next 38 minutes or so, they prove this time and time again.

Sludge/Stoner Metal riffs played with such power and precision that it destroys everything in its wake. This album becomes better with every listen. Highly addictive stuff from start to finish. Everything about this album oozes class – The artwork, The band name, The song titles and the excellent riffs present through out. The band don’t mess about with hidden messages as they play good old fashioned Sludge/Doom/Stoner Metal riffs the legendary bands of the past would be proud to call their own.

Production is superb through out. You can hear everything clearly through out. It is an excellent sounding debut album, which the band deserves credit for. Lizzard Wizzard has delivered a brilliant action packed album. Australia has another great Sludge/Doom/Stoner Metal band to call upon.

Do not let this album pass you by as you are seriously missing out on something special here. The album is available for Buy Now Download on BandCamp but it will not be there for long. So get it while you can. Headover to BandCamp now and download this album now. You can thank me later.

Excellent and Highly Recommended.
