FORKS OF IVORY - The Isolator

FORKS OF IVORY are a Sludge/Post-Metal Band from Jonesborough/Johnson City.

The members are

Dylan Rutherford- Guitar
Ross Grindstaff- Drums

FORKS OF IVORY play down-tempo Sludge/Post-Metal music. Taking influence from a whole range of bands past and present from the Sludge/Post-Metal scene including Neurosis and Generation of Vipers amongst many others.

That is what I originally described this great band back in Aug 2011. Well the guys are back with their latest EP - The Isolater - A 3 song and 16 minute blast of absolute carnage and destruction.

Forks Of Ivory have lost none of their majestic power. Their still loud and powerful as ever. It's great to see the guys back in action where they belong.

The centre piece of this excellent EP is the 11:48 minute epic - Sentenced. A song that shows what Forks Of Ivory is all about. Playing sublime Sludge/Post-Metal riffs to crush your puny little soul to. Fuck Yeah it's seriously that good.
