INTERPRETER

Introspection cover art

Interpreter are a Sludge/Post-Metal Band from Columbia, South Carolina, USA

The members are:

Stephen - Bass
Tim - Guitar
Ryan - Drums
Paul - Vocals

Interpreter are a Sludge/Post-Metal band that throws nearly every great genre this blog stands for. Sludge, Post-Metal, Ambient, Post-Rock, Doom and Black-Metal to highly original and brutal effect.

They have just released their outstanding debut album – Introspection – A 6 song and 50 minute blast of top-notch riffage that goes across the genres brilliantly well.

If you’re into ISIS, Neurosis, Wolves in the Throne Room then you’re going to love this band like I did. They play a great hybrid sound of those great bands.

The songs will have you begging more. Full of sublime riffs to match the bleak vocals as well. This is a band that have something to say and one listen is never enough.

Check out the brilliant 12 minute epic – Consciousness Surrendred. A track that shows what this great band does brilliantly well. Blending the genres to great effect to leave the listener feeling a little bit jaded after listening to it. An unflinching and dark brooding masterpiece.

It’s superbly produced and you can hear every mean loud riff to brutal effect. Interpreter is a band you cannot ignore. This is a band that will appeal to all extreme metal fans. As it has something for everyone all in a great bleak package waiting to be discovered.

Introspection is a truly spellbinding release from start to finish. And one that I have been listening to on a regular basis for the last couple of weeks or so.

What is even better you can download this on BandCamp Pay Anything You Want Type Deal right now. So don’t wait around for long. Just download this brilliant album now. You won’t regret it.

Highly Recommended.
