Jizzlobber is a Sludge/Stoner Rock and Roll Band from Colmar, France
So what do we have here folks. A Faith No More Tribute band I hear you ask. Well not quite. Jizzlobber are a Faith No More inspired Sludge/Stoner Rock and Roll Band.
Ever wondered what Faith No More would sound like if they ever went down the Sludge/Stoner Metal route. Well here is your answer folks. JIZZLOBBER.
Jizzlobber are a breath of fresh air in the Sludge/Stoner Metal scene blending elements of Space, Doom and Faith No More inspired madness to create a stunning collection of tracks.
Their S/T debut release is a 5 song and 23 minute blast of insane Sludge/Stoner Metal riffs. Opening track (interceptor) heat combustion has a frenzied rapid gun fire approach. Choppy vocals and riffs show you that your in for a wild ride. So buckle up and enjoy the show.
Up next is 2:20am - which feels like Mike Patton's genius all over it especially the vocals. But then the guys start adding their own identity by adding some excellent Stoner/Space Rock riffs and the Faith No More influences start to disappear in the background for a while.
Up next is the EP's standout track - Glorious - A 6:18 minute track starts with a dreamy psych based riff to sooth the senses to. But wait for the 2nd minute mark when the guitars get slightly louder and then the angry vocals kick in. This track shows what Jizzlobber can do on their own terms and it's very impressive indeed.
The remaining two tracks still show a slight Faith No More influence but the guys do add their own superb creative style to show that this is a band with much promise indeed.
They might not be the most original of bands but when the music sounds this good who gives a FUCK.
The EP is brilliantly produced and you can hear all of the great riffs and vocals on show to jizzlobbing perfection.
