SLOW GREEN THING is
a Heavy Rockband from Dresden/Germany. The band is playing some
classic 1970’s hard rock with Black Sabbath and Deep Purple style
mixed with modern high-gain sound. While using Stoner Rock and Doom
Metal elements, the band can not be pigeonholed. Psychedelic singing
and jamming round up it's musical style.

Now
here is a band that has passed me by over the last few months or so.
And I am kicking myself for taking notice of it sooner as they
fucking rule. Some of you have already heard of Slow Green Thing.
Yeah
I am a bit late to the party but it happens. Now it's time to make up
for my mistake as Slow Green Thing's debut EP – I – is superb. A
stunning hybrid of Doom Metal, Hard Rock, Stoner Rock all tinged with
Psychedelic vibes that makes it one addictive release.
This
EP takes the best elements of Doom Metal, Hard Rock and Stoner Metal
of the last 40 years and gives it a much needed modern makeover for
one highly addictive sound that will last you for days. If you're a
fan of Black Sabbath, Monster Magnet and Kyuss then
you need to check this band out now. Tracks such as Inner Void and
Heart Of Stone show you what this band is all about. Hazy and epic
riffs with enough power to get high to.
