Sarin is a band who formed in May 2012 and House Of Leaves is their debut release. And it's an excellent blast of Sludge/Post-Metal riffs. If you are a fan of Isis and Neurosis then you will find much to enjoy here.
It's only on for 21 minutes or so but the 4 tracks should you what a talented band Sarin actually are. The first track - House Of Leaves - will show you what these guys do so well. Playing intense Sludge/Post-Metal riffs to become majorly involved with. Throw in top-notch vocals and you have a release you cannot ignore. This track is based on the classic novel of the same written by Mark Z. Danielewski.
Check out excellent tracks - Mosque and Black Halls - to show that Sarin have a very bright future indeed. The production on this release is superb from start to finish. You can hear every note and riff to ear-shattering clarity.
One of the best produced debut releases I have had the pleasure to listen to this year.
