Portland,
Oregon-based doomsday cult, THE BODY, had declared an extensive itinerary
of upcoming live actions in support of their end-time message, including a
major Spring offensive with Full Of Hell.
In
March, THE BODY has two California gigs confirmed, including
their participation in Two Piece Fest West, playing the second day of the event
in Berkeley on March 7th joining +HIRS+, Tweak Bird, Godstomper,
Dakhma and other two-member acts, and a show the following night in Los
Angeles. Just a month later, a quick run of solo shows through the center of
the country will transplant THE BODY in one of their prior
hometowns of Providence, Rhode Island, where they'll convene with the
invincible quartet, Full Of Hell ON April 4th, beginning a five-week tour
assault through the entire country together. The routing will take the band full
circle, returning to Providence on May 17th for the final show.
An
act notorious for constantly touring and recording new material, THE
BODY recently unleashed a two separate collaborative recordings with
Thou; the first, Released From Love, through Vinyl Rites in
April 2014 and the second, You, Whom I Have Always Hated, just this
year via Thrill Jockey, also responsible for the band's 2014-released split
with Sandworm and 2013-released I Shall Die Herecollaboration with
The Haxan Cloak.
