The Sludgelord Song Premiere - "(I Can't Believe It's) Nutbutter" by Victorian Whoredogs

By: Aaron Pickford

In an industry, where even the legendary Frank Zappa remarked “Does Humour belong in Music?” UK sludge metal band Victorian Whore Dogs clearly don’t take themselves too seriously, infusing tongue in cheek humour into their lyrics but remaining exemplary purveyors of downtuned maniacal sludge metal they have released two critically acclaimed EPs to date. Having described “Hobo Chic” as “...becoming addicted to something unpleasant, Victorian Whore Dogs are back!!

Armed with a bile inducing debut full length set for released April 1st via Hibernacula Records, be prepare to be “AfternoonifiedFrontman Danny Page commented on the album: "Afternoonified” is a sludge-doom cacophony of debauched madness and sexual expression. It is not so much art, but a rejection of self, a journey into the confines of our own repressive nature to come full circle and truly understand that life itself is a rose-tinted cumstain left on the sidewalk. We are exploring ourselves, within ourselves, outside ourselves, on our shelves. It's fuzzy, doomy, riffy, and angry."

Victorian Whore Dogs will also embark on a tour of the UK the same week “Afternoonified” is released, confirmed tour dates are below, more information and dates will be released in the next few weeks. But until then, enjoy this new track “(I Can’t Believe It’s) Nutbutter”
