Review:

Ladies and Gentlemen welcome to the fucked up and dangerous world of Black Khox.

Any album that starts off with a brilliant soundclip from Tom Cruise from Magnolia stating - “RESPECT THE COCK!!!” - before unleashing a fast paced riff that instantly grabs you by the scruff of your neck needs to be heard now.

Yeah there is a great juvenile humour to Black Khox's music but when the music is this good then who the fuck cares. It only adds to the overall excitement of AKAB – the blistering debut album from these fast-paced Canadian Sludge/Stoner Metallers.

If you're a fan of High On Fire, Black Tusk and Red Fang then be prepared to worship a new band of riff-slayers as AKAB is one brutal blast of energy you all need to check out now. First track – AKAB – shows you what this band is all about. Dangerous and high voltage Sludge/Stoner Metal riffs to rock the hell out to. It's loud from the word go and it doesn't slow down until the very last second is played.

It's great to see a band having a wild time with their music. Black Khox don't give a shit what is happening in the world as all they want to do is rock out. Plain and Simple. Things do get very nasty indeed especially on PINATA. William's pitch black sludge like vocals gives this album added steel and it only makes the album a more hard-rocking vibe.

All am going to say is download this album now as you will be playing this for days. Trust me. This is as good as it gets. If you want your Sludge/Stoner Metal loud, nasty and violent as hell with a great sense of humour then Black Khox is the band for you.

You want riffs!!! - AKAB will leave you in a state of shock for the album's 30 minute running time. You will be begging for more punishment.

You can download AKAB on BandCamp Buy Now Download now. Trust me folks, you don't want to miss this one. You can also buy this on CD and Vinyl as well.

Fucking Awesome.
