Dresden/Leningrad

Vader EP cover art

Dresden/Leningrad are as Stoner/Doom/Occult Metal band from Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Dresden/Leningrad recently contacted me to look at their band. They have only been going for over a year or so. This is what they had to say:

"We are Dresden/Leningrad, a three-piece band from Amsterdam, The Netherlands. We have been making music for over a little less than a year and we have just completed mixing our very first EP, named Vader. We play a mixture of Stoner, doom and 70's occult rock. The vocals are in Dutch, but the booklet that comes with the EP provides an English translation. The lyrics are inspired on themes from both world wars."
Well their excellent new EP -Vader - is a startling and vivid collection of Stoner/Doom/Occult based tracks that will instantly send chills down your spine.

Especially first track - Vader - A 5:55 minute track that feels like an old style 70's horror movie and showing the true effects of war. Very powerful and hypnotic at the same time.

Next up is Herder which follows on from Vader. Another powerful occult based Doom/Stoner Metal track that shows you how talented this band actually are.

The other two tracks are equally brilliant and as powerful especially the 10:45 minute epic - Niemandsland -that is heavy from the word go. And is my fave track on this excellent release.

Just download this album now as Dresden/Leningrad are giving this away for free download on BandCamp right now. I feel these guys are doing something different.

It might be a bit rough around the edges but you can't deny the passion and creativity of it all. Dresden/Leningrad are a band you won't forget in a very long time.

Brilliant. End Of.
