Cotidal play a progressive style of instrumental post-metal mixed in element with Post Rock and Ambient Rock.
They have just released their superb EP called "EP 1". A 6 song and 33 minute blast of hard-hitting Post-Metal riffs with a great progressive edge.
If you’re into Pelican, Russian Circles and bands of that style then check this EP as it’s a great blast of top-notch riffs.
The EP is superbly played and produced by all involved. And has many moments of great loud/quiet passages that you would expect from a great Post-Metal/Sludge Rock band.
This release has am 11:26 minute epic to stand out from the crowd. “Of Rust” shows what this band does brilliantly well. Drawing the viewer in with the top-notch Sludge/Post-Metal riffage on show with added sublime Ambient Post-Rock effects as well.
